## Web Platform Accessibility Testing Initiatives

There are several concurrent initiatives towards testing various aspects of the web platform accessibility stack:

### Acacia

Acacia tests platform accessibility API mappings directly, as well as testing the internal accessibility tree:

We can remove this whole section, this work was abandoned when I started working on the aamtest... before we got it to a state where it could be usable


### Accessibility Compat Data (ACD)

Accessibility Compat Data (ACD) is a project to document how web platform features are supported by assistive technologies (AT) across different browsers:

### ARIA-AT

The ARIA-AT project aims to empower equal inclusion by realizing interoperability for AT users:

### Additional WebDriver Accessibility Test Accessors Using Web Platform Tests (WPT)

Using WPT, more robust testing of browser-computed accessibility properties is possible by extending WebDriver with additional accessibility test accessors:
- `Get Accessibility Properties For Element`
- `Get Accessibility Properties For Accessibility Node`

To this end, this approach helps realize greater accessibility interoperability through WebDriver and Web Platform Tests. For more information:
