Summary

Part of #6965.

Review notes

  • Tried to figure out what is changelog-significant versus what is not, could have missed one or two.
  • It was tricky to reverse what r-l/r side changes were in subtree-push nightly-2026-06-10 #6939 that were relnotes worthy.

It was tricky to reverse what r-l/r side changes were in #6939 that were relnotes worthy.

Thanks for looking into that. For the most part we haven't included r-l/r changes, but I think having a few of the more significant changes included in the CHANGELOG is good 👍
