The feature

The idea is simple:
Add an annual infographic/table to the website, similar to the one on Mastodon, but slightly more detailed and covering multiple years.

For example:
Add a ranking of the largest countries (by number of contact points), most and least popular contact points,...

Why?

When the changes or added content are not so obvious throughout the year, it is useful to summarize the changes in one page.

I would love to develop the infographic. I think the crucial parts are ways to gather the data. Countries with the most contact points are easy to get from the stats page, but popularity? What would that even mean?

Ranking on the number of contact points For example: 1) Facebook with X number of contact points.
and vice versa for the least used contact point.

Small question: what should we call the page? Just the year ("2025") or something longer ("2025 - year in review")? Or should it be a hierarchy (like "/year-in-review/2025")?

I'm leaning towards “/XX/2025”.

Let's start minimal, basically with just the info in the image in the top as a start (as we already have that). Then we can improve this iteratively as we find more ways to extract interesting data.

I suggest we settle with "/year-in-review/YYYY/" so that we can get started as well.

With this in mind, I think this is ready to start working on and should be fairly straightforward, as we don't need to build any automation for now.
