GitHub - downbeat/CANchat: A (hideous) chat script for chatting over a CAN connection. Each party in the chat runs this script, which uses the SocketCAN userspace tools candump and cansend. I kludged this script together in a few hours last year at the event that shall not be named, and it was a fun toy to play with for a while. To fix the duplicate data returned from the CANPIPE when reading a CAN frame, the return of 'read' should be checked. Processing the data in can_frame should only happen if 'read' returns zero. In this interest of leaving this script as is, I have not fixed this issue, and the workaround remains in place.
