Xcodes 3.0.2 on 26.3.1 (25D2128). Had the unxip experiment enabled and I noticed it was hanging in the unarchive phase on Xcode 26.4 Beta 2 & Beta 3. It was working fine before that.

Disabling the experiment fixed it for me,
