Feature: Shareable Custom Reports — Let AI builders create, export, and share data-driven reports for team decision-making

Problem

AI builders frequently need to create data-driven reports for team decision-making (e.g., "AI Agent Framework Comparison Q2 2026", "MCP Server Landscape Report"). Currently, OSSInsight doesn't support creating and sharing custom reports.

Proposal

Build a Shareable Custom Reports feature that enables AI builders to:

1. Create Custom Reports

   • Select projects/repos to include
   • Choose metrics (stars, forks, contributors, activity trends)
   • Define time range
   • Add custom commentary/analysis

2. Export Options

   • PDF export (print-ready format)
   • PNG export (for social sharing)
   • Interactive web link (public or private)

3. Sharing & Embedding

   • Generate shareable URLs with customizable slugs
   • Embed code for blogs/documentation
   • Social media preview cards (OG tags)

4. Templates

   • Pre-built templates for common use cases:
     • "AI Tool Comparison Report"
     • "Ecosystem Landscape Report"
     • "Weekly Trend Analysis"

Expected Impact

• Higher engagement: Users spend more time creating reports
• Viral growth: Shared reports drive new users to OSSInsight
• Team adoption: Becomes a decision-making tool for engineering teams
• Content generation: User-generated reports become SEO content

Implementation Notes

• Build on top of existing "Interactive Data Stories" infrastructure
• Use existing JSON-LD schema for SEO
• Consider rate limiting for public report generation
• Add report analytics (views, shares, embeds)
