Errors during linking

Hello,

I am getting the following error during make:

[LINK] osiris.e
Reaping winning child 0x56234df546b0 PID 1527960
Live child 0x56234df546b0 (build/osiris.e) PID 1527961
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open linker script file ommons: No such file or directory

I am wondering if this is related to the following in the config file:

MPI_FLINKFLAGS = -Wl,-flat_namespace -Wl,-commons,use_dylibs -I$(MPICH_HOME)/include -L$(MPICH_HOME)/lib -lmpifort -lmpi -lpmpi

Hi:

Can you tell me which config file you are using and the hardware configuration?

Looks like your linker does not recognize the "-commons" options so it interpret "-commons" as "-c ommons". That's why you get the error message "ommons: No such file or directory"

If you can tell me about your hardware setup and OS I think we can figure out if we can use a different config file or make a new one for your system.
